WE DID IT!!!

After all of the sweat, blood, tears, countless study hours, and many sleepless nights...
we finally graduated!!
It was such a wonderful day!
Our families were able to take the day off to come to both
ceremonies for Dan and I.
They have given us so much love and support throughout
our college years.
We couldn't have done it without them,
so thank you!!

Happy U of U graduates!

Us with my family.

Isn't he so cute in his cap & gown??

My parents were really happy for us, it was just really bright outside. :-)

Hanging out with the Lovin crew.

Done and done!!!
Question is, what am I going to do with all of my free time??

The rumors are true...

WE ARE MOVING!!!

Yes, we will be boxing up the apartment and haulin' our stuff to good ol' Farmington!!
Dan and I were fortunate enough to build a brand new house there. We are so excited!
We weren't planning on moving until we graduated, but the opportunity presented itself to us, and we took it! Come Spring Break, we will be settled in our new home.
We can hardly wait!
Here are some pics of our house during the building progress.
The foundation.

Just framed.

My cute parents came to visit.

Future Farmington residents.

Sorry it's dark. The pic was taken right before a storm.

Stucco in place.

Chillin' in the crawl space.

Our backyard.

The unfinished kitchen.
It's three times the size of mine in our apartment.
Hooray for more counterspace!

Hanging out in our master bathroom.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago.
There were a few areas on the outside of the house that still needed to be painted.
I will post pictures of the finished product when we close on our house! :-)

Overwhelmed?

Yeah, that's me.
School is taking over my life and I'm sick of it!
Spring Break can't come fast enough.

Need I say more??
I have been eating lots of desserts lately.

Where's our snow??

Oh yeah...back East.
I am not a huge fan of the winter but c'mon. We need to have snow to cover up the dead grass and all the mud. It doesn't look very pleasant outside. What's with the rain? We need snow!
Happy President's Day!

My Funny Valentine

Ode to my man Dan!
On this day I am truly grateful to have you in my life.
You are my "funny" Valentine because you always make me laugh.
Thinking of you puts a smile on my face.
You are a kid at heart, full of love and compassion.
Thanks for being the wonderful husband that you are.
I am proud to be your wife.
I am "Lovin" you more and more each day.
Happy Valentine's Day Sweetie!
XOXO

What a joyous day it will be...

WHEN WE GRADUATE!!
That's right! Only one more semester to go until Dan and I both graduate from the U! I am so excited! I have been waiting for this day to come for quite some time now. It has been a long journey, but the end is in sight. Plus, I get to share it with my sweet husband. These next few months are going to be busy since both of us are working full time and taking classes, but it will be worth it in the end! We are excited to become the graduating class of 2010!

Winter Wonderland

Well this is my first official post of 2010, and I am excited for the new year! It's a fresh start and a new chapter to our lives. We had a wonderful Christmas with our families. Dan's parents visited us Christmas morning and we had Christmas dinner with my family. We decided to celebrate New Year's up in Kamas. On New Year's Eve, Dan, his dad Paul, and I took a snowmobile ride up Hoyts Peak. It was absolutely gorgeous! The sun was shining and there was a fresh blanket of powder covering the mountains. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for snowmobiling. It was a great kick off to a new year!

Like I said, it was absolutely beautiful, a complete Winter Wonderland.

Dan and Paul enjoying the winter air.

Dan the man.

Here I am, my face was squished because my helmet was so tight.

We love Kamas!

If you can't tell, that's me. I feel so miniature and weak when riding these heavy sleds, but they are fun. It's a good upper body workout.

That's Dan playing in the snow.

Doing what he loves best, snowmobiling!

Dan rolling the snowmobile after a sharp turn.

The man in action!

Attempt #2 on the snowmobile.

Here he goes...

...and rolls the sled yet again.
If you look closely, you can see his helmet in the powder, pretty cool eh?

Dan signaling to us that he is ok. Thank goodness for soft snow.

Paul watching Dan dig his snowmobile out of the knee deep powder. I should have helped him but I was having more fun taking pictures.

My favorite picture, I love the snowmobile tracks in the snow.

All in all, it was a good day.
